We’re soooooo excited to announce that we have picked up our FIRST craft beer. We will have Irish Family Brewers McGargles on tap and in the bottle THIS WEEKEND! (we just couldn’t wait!)
On tap we have the ever so lovely Cousin Rosie’s Pale Ale — why? Well, we got to say we’re being pretty selfish with this one because we personally love PALE ALE! Yum, yum and particular Cousin Rosie’s — so you should really get a pint in before we get to it!
McGargles describes it as…
“Perfectly balances bitter citrus fruit notes with a caramelised palate. The hop aroma gives an strong tropical fruit sensation of pink grapefruit, mango and citrus from the Chinook and Summit hops used to dry hop the beer. The aroma is well balanced by the taste as the hop character follows through in the taste giving it a well-rounded finish. A perfectly balanced Pale Ale.”
In the bottle we have the AWARD winning Francis’ Big Bangin’ IPA — this bad boy just won the overall Dublin Craft Beer Cup at the AllTech Craft Brews and Food Fair we’re told this is the first time EVER that an Irish beer has won this prestigious award so count us honored to be making room for this champion on our shelves.
McGargles describes it as…
“A full on West Coast style IPA that comes bangin’ down your door with a trio of Columbus, Mosaic and Simcoe hops which give it a tropical balanced flavour with a lingering aftertaste.”
